We are looking for two new Resident Board Members.

East Kent Housing - Resident Board Member x 2

Voluntary Director position with paid expenses

We are excited to announce an opportunity for tenants to join our Board of Directors.  We are currently seeking applications from tenants who live in Dover and Thanet areas to join the current Resident Board Members from Canterbury and Shepway on the Board.

East Kent Housing is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up in 2011 to manage the 17,000 social housing stock on behalf of Canterbury City, Dover District, Shepway District and Thanet District Councils.

The Board of Directors are volunteers who make sure we deliver quality housing services.  The Board is made up of 12 members, 4 tenants, 4 councillors and 4 independent members, who bring not only valuable skills and professional experience to the table, but also the interests and needs of the communities across East Kent.

This is a voluntary position and successful applicants will be expected to attend meetings throughout the year and to do the necessary reading and preparation to participate effectively for these.

If you feel you have the skills and commitment to help us continue to offer quality housing services to the residents of east Kent, we would love to hear from you.  Download our recruitment pack to see more details or call 01304 872410.
