How will East Kent Housing improve
the service you receive?
In the year ahead we plan to:
- Improve the way our staff deal with enquiries from you and do
more to help sort out your housing problems.
- Make it easier for you to complain when you are not happy with
the service.
- Improve the way we do things by learning from our mistakes and
making things better as a result.
- Find out more about you so we can make sure that future
services better meet your needs.
- Set up Area Boards so that our service is accountable to your
needs.
- Look at new ways for how you can make your views known to us
about the services you receive.
In the year ahead we plan to:
- Do more to help you to move to a more suitable home when your
circumstances change
- Reduce the amount of rent owed to the councils but provide
support and help to tenants who are struggling to pay their
rent.
- Improve the way in which communal areas on your estates are
looked after.
- Give you more opportunities to access services through the
internet.

and want to set up shared housing services too!
