January Area Board Meeting dates
Our local area boards make sure our tenants have the
opportunity to assess how well services are being delivered by East
Kent Housing.
The Area Boards are made up from
existing local tenant and leaseholder representatives, with the
addition of two local councillors. They are also attended by a
local tenant representative from the main
East Kent Housing Board
The dates for the next Area Board meetings in
January are:
- Dover’s Area Board on Thursday 19 January 2012 at The
Phoenix Centre, Jubilee Road, Sandwich, Kent CT13 0QP from
11.30am until 13.30pm
- Canterbury’s Area Board on Wednesday 18 January 2012 at
Thanington Resource Centre, starting at 7.00pm and finishing at
9.00pm
- Thanet’s Area Board on Wednesday 25 January 2012 at the
Newington Community Centre, Ramsgate at 10am-12pm.
- Shepway’s Area Board on Tuesday 24 January 2011 at 1:30pm
in the Newington Village Hall, The Street, Newington. CT18

the public and to attend, please contact your local tenant participation officer.

Can I join an Area Board?
Yes. But since Area Boards are
made up from the tenants' groups which already exist in your area,
the rules for membership of each of those groups apply. You
can find out more about routes to membership by contacting your
Tenant Participation Officer.
