Monitoring and measuring
performance
The Tenants and Leaseholders
Consultation Forum will use an Action Plan (see supporting
documents) to monitor this agreement. In addition to the Forum
receiving quarterly performance reports, all tenants and
leaseholders will receive an annual report.
Tenants right to manage
The Council recognises the right for
tenants to take over the management of their homes under The
Housing (Right to Manage) Regulations 1994. The Council will
support groups of residents who want to explore these options.
Complaints
Our aim is to provide tenants and
leaseholders with a good quality service. If you want to complain
about a consultation process you can do so by completing a customer
complaints form, available on request by calling 01843 577262 or at
any of the council offices. If you are still unhappy with the
response you can take your grievance to the Local Government
Ombudsman, an independent body set up to investigate complaints
about councils.
