Tenant participation in Thanet

Consultation

East Kent Housing and Thanet District Council are committed to providing opportunities for tenants and leaseholders to have an equal opportunity to influence decisions on all matters concerning the management of their homes. We recognise that meaningful tenant and leaseholder participation can achieve quality improvements in the housing service.

The Tenants and Leaseholders Consultation Agreement is an agreement between Thanet District Council and its tenants and leaseholders to work together to develop and improve housing services. This agreement was developed with the help of tenants and leaseholders.

The Thanet Tenants & Leaseholders Forum is a formal consultative body of tenants and leaseholders who work in partnership with East kent Housing and the council to influence decisions on housing services.

Newsletters update tenants and leaseholders with information about the services provided and local information about the areas in which they live.

Our Tenant Participation Officer, Michelle Thomas, is on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding tenant participation or if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve the way we involve our tenants and leaseholders.
