Leaseholders
Thanet District Council has over 360 leaseholders. Thanet
District Council leaseholders are former tenants who have bought
their flat under the right to buy, or people who have bought from
them on the open market. Owners hold the leasehold of the
flat, but the freehold of the block belongs to Thanet District
Council.
