Paying your rent
How to pay
Your rent is due weekly on a Monday. We are able to accept rent
payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly, in advance, to suit
you. You will be supplied with a plastic barcode card.
Direct Debit
This is our preferred method of payment. Please complete
our Direct Debit Form or
either phone 01304 872296 or visit any of Dover
District Council’s area offices.
Standing Order
Please contact the rent section on
01304 872 296 if you want to set up a Standing Order.
By debit or credit card
You can pay online using our online
payments system (this link will take you back to DDC's
website) or alternatively you can phone 01304 872345. A surcharge
is made for all credit card payments but not debit cards.
By post
Send a crossed cheque or postal order with your rent account
number written on the back, made payable to Dover District Council
(not an individual officer) to White Cliffs Business Park, Dover,
Kent CT16 3PJ
At a Post Office/Payzone
You can pay by cash, cheque, debit/credit card at any Post
Office or Payzone, using your plastic payment card or temporary
cardboard card.
Please note that payments
cannot be taken at the Dover District Council offices.
If you want to pay by cash, please pay
at a Post Office or Payzone using your payment card.
