Plans for 2011
Local Offers
In 2010, we set up a Service
Improvement Group to look at Estate
Services. We listened to residents' opinions about what we
currently do, and what we could do to improve the service, and we
then used this feedback to inform the development of our Local
Offers.
Local Offers are standards for 2011
that we have agreed with you, tailored to your area, and which we
must adhere to.
Our performance against these
standards will be monitored by the Performance Review Group and
will be published to all tenants by newsletter and on this
website.
There are four main Local Offers
for Estate Services, and they were put in place by 31
March 2011.

We will publish our
standards on the website, in each communal area of blocks and
in the sign-up pack for new tenants.

We will carry out a published programme of estate inspections every six months. We will
invite residents, Street Scene officers, councillors, and
contractors, along to the inspection and will publish the results
in a newsletter within 28 days of the inspection date.

We will ensure that each estate reaches Grade 2 or
above, using the estate grading system. If it does not reach this
grade, it will be put right within 28 days of inspection.

We will set up resident
monitors to grade the quality of the estates and the cleaning
of the communal areas of blocks of flats.
