Capital Works
What the group does
Capital works are the major works we do to our homes to keep
them up to a decent standard; they include new kitchens, bathrooms,
heating systems and re-roofing.
This group discusses how we work with our tenants throughout the
process of working on their homes, how we organise our programmes
of work, how we can achieve better value for money, and how we can
minimise disruption.

in coming along - to either take part or simply observe what
goes on at our meetings - will be warmly welcomed. We meet at least
three times a year. The dates for 2011 are:
The meetings are always held in the
evenings to make it easier to attend (usually they start at about
5.30pm), and they take place at the Canterbury City Council
offices. The meetings have an informal atmosphere, and
refreshments are provided.
