How and where to pay

All of our tenants are issued with a plastic payment card.  If yours has been lost or damaged, please contact us on 01227 862142.

 

Online

Make a payment online

(this link will take you back to the Canterbury City Council website).

 

You will need to have your 16-digit tenancy reference number ready (on the bottom right of your plastic payment card).

 

Over the phone (automated)

 

0845 200 1784 for credit/debit card payments. 

 

Follow the recorded instructions (you will need the 19-digit number across the middle of your plastic payment card).

Pay by calling our Income Recovery team (you will need your debit or credit card to hand).

 

Set up a Direct Debit

This is the most convenient and reliable way of paying your rent.  Regular

monthly payments will be collected directly from your bank account.

 

Set up a Direct Debit by telephoning us on 01227 862142 or emailing us at canterbury@eastkenthousing.org.uk.

 

At the Post Office or PayPoint outlet (local shop)

For payments by cash or cheque.

 

Some PayPoint outlets may allow you to pay by credit/debit card - please ask for details at your local outlet (be aware that some outlets may charge for this).

Ensure you take your plastic payment card with you and your cash/cheque.
