What is sheltered housing?
Sheltered housing is not like an old
people's home or a nursing home.
Tenants maintain the same
responsibilities and independence there that they have always
enjoyed. Every sheltered scheme has an on-site Scheme
Manager, who is on hand to assist with any needs you may have; but
it is up to you whether you would like additional support.
The purpose of sheltered housing is to
enable you to continue living as independently as possible.
Our aim is to support you without intruding, maintaining both
freedom and privacy.
