Paying your rent

How to pay

• By Standing Order:

If you have a bank account, you can set up a standing order with your bank. Payments are made on dates that you choose. Download a Standing Order form (PDF) , or call our offices on 01843 577313 or 01843 577350.

• Internet:

You can now pay online  24 hours a day on the Internet. You will need your PayPoint swipe card reference number starting with '06' and your debit or credit card details.

• By phone or Telebanking:

You can now make your payments 24 hours a day by debit or credit card on 01843 577259.

• Pay in person:

at Thanet's Gateway Plus

• Using Your Rent PayPoint Swipe card

    Order a new rent card online (this link will direct you back to the

    Thanet District Council website)

• By post:

Send your cheque to Thanet District Council, PO Box 9, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent CT9 1XZ. Make it payable to Thanet District Council and write your Rent Account Reference Number and Account details on the back.

Please do not send cash through the post.
