Responsive Repairs Group
What the group does
When Canterbury awarded Mears the contract for repairs, part of
the agreement was that Mears would carry out additional work in the
community. The additional work is driven by what tenants tell
us they would like to see happen, either in their area or for
tenants across the district.
This group will look at what initiatives we can develop with
Mears, as well as some of our other contractors.
Can I attend?
Yes! Anybody who is interested
in coming along - to either take part or simply observe what
goes on at our meetings - will be warmly welcomed. We meet at least
three times a year. The dates for 2011 are:
The meetings are always held in the
evenings to make it easier to attend (usually they start at about
5.30pm), and they take place at the Canterbury City Council
offices. The meetings have an informal atmosphere, and
refreshments are provided.
