Service Improvement Groups
In Canterbury, we have a number of groups made up of tenants,
leaseholders and staff members.
Some of them are for particular groups of people to provide
input into our policies from the point of view of those in a
similar situation to them (such as our forums for sheltered residents, young
people, those with disabilities, and
leaseholders).
Others are for tenants and leaseholders from all backgrounds,
and they focus on particular areas of work. Unlike the forums
described above, they are groups which meet for one year only to
improve the way our service is delivered. They may then
decide that they would like to continue meeting beyond that year
(such as our Performance Review Group).
Last year we had successful groups focusing on Financial
Inclusion and Equalities.
