East Kent Housing could not have been possible without tenant
and leaseholder involvement. From the committed members of the JTLG
(Joint Tenants and Leaseholders Group) to everyone who
took the time and effort to respond to the consultation that took
place last summer, we want to thank you for the ideas and support
you've given us so far.
After such a good start, we want to keep it up and give you as
many options for involvement as possible.
We are committed to:
- keeping you informed through regular newsletters direct to your
door
- providing the latest news and information on our website
- responding to your phone calls and emails within reasonable
timescales
- asking and listening to you through ongoing consultation
opportunities
We want to develop:
- modern and instant ways for you to communicate with us, such as
using Facebook or Twitter, to update you on news
- friendly and 'opt-in' communications, such as asking you
if you want to sign up for text or email alerts to be sent to
you
We want to keep:
- face to face communications so you can speak to real
people
- local staff and officers so you can contact us with
ease
- tenants forums and/or community groups updated and
involved with what East Kent Housing is doing
