June Area Board

Thursday 23 June at the The Landmark Centre, Deal, and you can view the agenda discussed or the minutes of the meeting.

We asked Anthony Ovenden, Chairman of Dover's Area Board and member of the East Kent Housing Communications Group, what he thought of the meeting.

Anthony said: "It was my pleasure to open the first meeting and welcome all present.  Many years of work had gone into getting to this stage and all members of the Area Board are looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead.  The meeting was well attended by Tenant Board Members together with officers from East Kent Housing.

There was a full agenda of topics including consultation from the main Board on the Equality and Diversity Policy and Complaints Policy, the Annual Report, and the Forward Plan.  The meeting approved the process to elect a new Tenant Board Member for Dover.  We look forward to many more interesting meetings to come."
